Teratophobia (ˌtɛrətəʊˈfəʊbɪə ) - the fear of giving birth to monsters

One last outing for local punk legend Gyp (R.I.P.) with long time collaborators Ogi (Fred West Garden Party) and Pad (Nolem Dam, Fred West Garden Party).

With music written by Gyp, embellished and recorded by Pad over a couple of years, many things conspiring against them (including the singers new false teeth being too big) but lyrics for the first song were finally written and recorded in the autumn of 2018, a few short months before the unexpected and sudden death of Gyp.

The raw recordings for Teratophobia, and another track, Shibboleth were mixed and mastered by Smout (Deadhorse F.A.S.).
Artwork and limited run CD pack were created by dhunter.

With saddened hearts, but best of memories, this release is dedicated to Gyp on the 1st year anniversary of his departure to the all night squat gig in the sky.

Any profits from this release will be donated to Shelter.

One last outing from local punk legend Gyp from Larne(don).
Gyp was involved with many punk rock outfits such as Fred West Garden Party, NolemDam, JCFO, Cataclysmic Spasmo, Chippy & the Fat Fuck Thalidimides. His final recordings were done as Sieg Haile Selassie.
Gyp sadly passed away in December 2018. Music for 3 songs were recorded but unfortunately only one ever got lyrics & vocals recorded. ... more
